WindoTrader Subscriber Builds: Harry G. (FL)

Today’s ‘build’ is from Harry who is an Assistant Professor of Finance and S&P trader in addition to being an avid student of the capital markets. He has traded stocks, bonds, and options in addition to the index futures. Harry has been a WindoTrader subscriber since 2003 and retired as a Colonel in the US Army. His current trading methodology is based on his preference for trading longer-term position on future’s options and equities.

The reasons we selected Harry’s ‘build’ this month are:

• Simplicity in displaying market context.
• Support in identifying ‘Key Decision Zone’.
• Displays of multiple timeframes (Long-term, Intermediate Term, and Short-term)

In preparing for a trading session, Harry goes through a very structured process (he is also a rated helicopter pilot) and, as he concludes his preparation, he annotates this chart with his primary reference points and key decision zones. Once this chart is the way he wants it, he keeps it visible for on-going reference as to the market’s context.
