WindoTrader Subscriber Builds: Mark S. (IL)

Today’s build is from Mark, a full-time trader, who proficiently uses the Session functionality of WindoTrader to build charts that ‘meet his requirements for information’. And, as you can see on his chart, he is also very creative in using the Session functionality but also in using the Session Object configuration functionality.

This is Mark’s chart along with his comments on how he uses it in his trading:

Chart Legend:

• Open of bond market. 10 minute candle. Typically precedes important economic data releases at 730:CT. Shown same way every day.
• Regular session time modified to fit within stock market session. This also accomplishes matching candles/TPO’s with that session. A and B session is denoted with small letters (a,b) to show how the bond market opened after news releases and before the stock market. C/C1 would be stock market open. Shows accurate market close at 2PM. Two time template set up to allow for different objects within those sessions.
• Globex post bond session that runs from 2PMCT to 4PMCT. This candle shows how bonds reacted to stock market close. Shown same way every day.
• Globex overnight session that opens at 5PMCT and runs to pit session at 7:20AMCT. Shown same way every day.
